There was a story recently in the local paper that tells some of the history of UpSki and included the fine photo of Jon Harrington. It is here in The Summit Daily.

Summer '09 UpSki News

Kevin Passmore, kevin@upski.com, organized the UpSki presence at the March 5,7, and 8th Kite Therapy Sessions. Kevin also created a page of Explore - Too specs with a YTBD weight of 10 lbs! On Sunday of the Kite Therapy Session the winds were marginal on the Lake so Kevin and I joined a Kite Skier for his first UpSki at Tunnel Bowl.

Bud Robinson, Jon Harrington, Kevin Passmore and myself all tested the new canopy that John Stanford built. Kevin has tested his carbon fiber control center all spring. The new canopy features lighter pulley's and pulley platform with a weight reducing set of new "grid" pattern lines to the canopy. We built the new canopy a little bigger to test some new fabric cuts but it is much lighter then the old ones.

John, Sara and I will be at Burning Man this September, visit with us at the Burning Sky Camp.
