TUESDAY UPDATE 11/30 FROM PAT, FAMILY & FRIENDS
Hello everyone,

Pat here along with Paula (cousin) typing, Debra editing, Andrea, Stick & Mole & Larry.

We’ve just completed a great lunch (Deb’s freaky* vegetables in a good soup – fresh fruit, and cookies baked by Pat. Debra also brought in a bouquet from Ardelle.) {*ask Deb} When Pat woke up this morning she remembered that she wanted to wear a new shirt from Julie in honor of Stick & Mole’s arrival today.. it says "fine friends" on it.

Stick, Mole, Pat & Julie have been friends since Junior High. Last week Julie was out & so Brainerd is well represented! Stick & Mole are busy trying to remember where everyone is & how many years have passed since various peak events have occurred. Last time they were out here, Larry & Pat took them skiing.. teaching Mole to powder ski. Pat is the best ski teacher anywhere! Deb moved on to tell us about her "black diamond" experience. At the bottom of the hill, (after an extremely cautious descent) Pat told Deb "Oh, you looked so poised!" Mole says Pat encouraged her in skiing by calling "LIGHT AS A FEATHER, Mole!.. Light as a feather!" (There were hand signals with this cheering.. )

Paula & Andrea are on their way to the airport.. their trip is complete after 2 days of visiting with Pat & Debra. Mole & Stick came in today & will return to Mpls tomorrow. By the end of the week, Tim Lawler (patrol days friend) Dan MacLeod & Barb Slegel (cousin) are expected. Pat’s got a nice full week of friends & family.

With Love & PLS,

Pat, Paula, Andrea, Mole, Stick, Debra & Larry
