FRIDAY 10/8 UPDATE FROM LAURA

Hi all! Laura Hofer here.

I missed my daily visit yesterday, and wow was I sad. I needed an Aunt Pat fix!!!

The Change in one day was amazing! I came in at 7:30 to a wide awake Pat the best glow that I have seen in days! They say that she slept through the whole night!!! She gave me a big grin when I let her Know how wonderful she looked!!

Just to fill you in on the clothing situation, Pat is slowly getting back into her own clothes, but we have also bought her some too. This morning she had on a pair of shorts that I didn't recognize as being something that Pat would wea ( they are bright pink ). When I asked her if the shorts she had on were hers, she shook her head a big no!! I proceeded to tell her that even though we love Larry very much, he doesn't quite know what we girls like to wear. This brought on a huge grin, and a big laugh!!

Unfortunately her alert manner did not continue due to medication. They had her do another CAT scan to see the progress in her brain, which called for sedation. We went to therapy and worked a little, but Pat was too groggy. So we went back to the room, and Pat got to skip her classes today. Her P.T. got moved to this afternoon, and after that Larry plans to take her outside.

I am sorry for the short note today, but I am on the move.

We will have more tomorrow. Laura
