Aunt Pat Tornado Fund

Larry Announces formation of Fund for Pat From Sluggo - Doug Loring
September 1, 1999
Larry is glad to announce the newly formed fund to assist Pat with her long road to recovery. It is Larry's hope that Pat will get better quickly and not need any of this money. If this is the case, the funds will be used to help with the construction of an extended care facility.

My company will put up a $500.00 check with the strict stipulation that it bematched by an equal $500.00 amount from robbie scholl's Keevyn company. If someone will take time soon to open a "tornado larry & pat" account at the bank and speak w/ the senior manager there about why there should be no service charges for the inflow and disbursements of funds to larry and pat, that would be a good thing.

The Keevyn Company will gladly contribute $500 to the Pat and Larry Fund, not because we were challenged by "Slugs Me Bugs Me More Than Anyone I Know", but because we love Pat and Larry and will do anything we can to help them in their time of need. Richard and I wish you a speedy recovery Pat and give us a call Larry if you need anything.

I am spending alot of time on the road so I do not check my e-mail as often as I would like. I trust the person who is in charge of the fund will contact me directly via e-mail or otherwise so I can make the appropiate arrangments.

Uncle Larry,

You and I and a few of your pards need to put our heads together again
(probably in Colorado) and come up with the ultimate promotion (or two
or three) and various thoughts on how we raise a a nice pile of cash for
either Pat or the extended care facility. This will be a good project
to get all the old cronies involved with too. I've got a little dough
put away for the first organizing meeting and I've got some new custom
Alpine & Telemark skis to use for awards too. Let's get creative here
and have a little fun...
Regards,
Kim H.

Praise God for the good news! Tears came to my eyes as I read the
encouraging update tonight. Thanks for keeping us all posted. Buzz and I were able to see Pat, Larry, Scarlet, and Chip while we were vacationing in Park City. Pat, Larry, and the family continue to be on my prayer list
daily.

Has a fund been set up to help pay for the hospital bills? If not, perhaps one should be set up. With all Pat's fan's I'm sure we could all help alleviate some of the financial burden. Thanks, too, for setting up the web site and keeping everyone posted. Though at times I'm not very fond of the Internet, it sure has brought people closer together.

Love to all,
