We, like so many others, start our day with immediately going to this web site for the latest on Pat's recovery. It's wonderful to feel the sense of "community" and love and support that is being directed to all those who love Pat, Larry, and entire family! We enjoyed learning more about the "Aunt" title....to us, Pat has been Patty---- Dan and Kay's little sister!! Our connection is the Brainerd, Minesota connection. Same neighborhood, church. Jan commuted to grad school with Pat's mom. John and Dan used to spy on Kay and her boyfriends. And what a small world when we moved to Woodbury, Minnesota and found that Kay would be the elementary music teacher for our two children!
John had the opportunity to briefly be with Ardelle, Kay, Dan and Patty several weeks ago when they were all together in Minnesota for a family get-together. That chance to connect is now all the more precious!
Larry, while we don't know you, we feel we are getting to know you through this experience. We send you our love and support as well! I truly don't think there is an hour that goes by that we are not thinking of you all and praying for strength for Patty, and all of you, and wisdom and guidance for all the medical professionals and care givers.
