Jeannette, the new occupational therapist, came in this morning to do a little sensory therapy. In this picture she is holding a jar of pepper under her nose. No reaction to this or to cinnamon. But when Larry put some ground coffee under her, she got a little smile and a twitch on her lip.

Jeannette also put a hot wash cloth and then a cold one on her back, and maybe did some more things when I wasn't paying attention. Interesting, I thought. Dan
Late Friday
We just had a big moment. Pat just raised her head up a bit in order to get a better view of her legs. She has been lifting her right knee up from time to time over the last couple of days, but not her left one. All of a sudden she lifted up her left knee a bit, so I asked her to try to lift it again. No action, but then she raised her head, like she was trying to see which leg
was which.

Pat's eyes are also tracking a bit better. Several times someone walked thru her field of vision, and she picked up on it and followed.

We also moved back to the old room. The unit where we moved ended up being overloaded and short of nurses, and the critical care area had room. It is better since it means closer attention.

I'm all tuckered out. This will have to do for now. Dan
