SUNDAY 9/26 UPDATE From JAMIE & LARRY

Hi to all from Pat's bedside. I am in SLC on my way to Moab. I finally got into the room with Larry's help. He was in Vegas and was late coming back due to Van trouble. He made it back to SLC today. I was not allowed to visit without a family member. Pat is looking marvelous! It is very cool being here with these guys. Larry is taking very care of Pat. I have been here two hours and Larry hasn't stop talking, kissing and working her legs and arms out. It is sooo loving. Marta, the main Pat nurse has been in doing a little female bonding with Pat telling her all her man jokes. (Larry told her not to give Pat any ideas.) Here is a sample, "Why does it take a million sperm to fertilize one egg? They don't ask directions either." That one Pat smiled at some. The next one got a better responce. "What is black and white and red all over? An embarassed Zebra." She almost laughed at that one Larry tells me that he would like it if Pat could stay in this room until she is ready to go to Denver. Which should be very soon. They need an airbus ride. It is like a flying hospital. It is the only way to get her home to Colorado. What I cannot wait for is the first words. It may be a while still, but I know that they will be very good! Well it is time to go. I am staying overnight with Larry. I am driving him up to Park City tonight. His van is at a dealership in southern Utah waiting to be fixed on monday morning. Jamie P.S.
