WEDNESDAY 9/29 UPDATE FROM DAVE EVERS
THURSDAY 9/30 UPDATE FROM DEBRA
Hello Everyone,
Another update from Dave Evers,

I have just arrived home form visiting Pat & Larry at Swedish. Again we got a smile from Pat, as this was my first visit to see her. It was great to hear she continues to make positive signs of improvement. Even the nurses are commenting on how much difference there was today since yesterdays arrival.

We tried to get Larry connected with a new dial-up but technical difficulties prevailed. After testing his connection on my home PC, I think we have a solution for him tomorrow.

We also have spread the word of the Patty MAC Twister Open through Joe Decker and many of the sports retail outlets in at least Denver if not the whole region, so turnout should be tremendous. Knowing Joe the "Jungle Drums" are beating loudly.

I'm checking a few resources for Larry on shirts for the golf event. I have to leave town early Friday morning and not back until Tuesday. If anyone could help keep up with this project for a couple of days, once we get it rolling, let me know. Office number: 303-233-0370 x412. We also discussed a few logo ideas so let him know if you have any others. Maybe Pat will point at a final canidate and play art director.

Go Pat!!

Dave Evers

Debra here to report a little bit about today. Pat had another day of modest improvement. The team at Swedish has been busy determining where Pat is at physically and mentally. They expect she will be transferred to Craig Rehab on Monday. This is good news! It means Pat is ready to focus on rehab.

Today several therapists worked with her including a speech therapist. Still no words, but she was able to begin working with the "Yes / No" board. She could tell which was "yes" and which was "no". When they asked her if she was at home she indicated "no."

Tomorrow they are going to put a feeding tab directly into her stomach. They'll be able to take the one down her nose out, which will be more comfortable.

I'm going to spend time there tomorrow, so will be able to write more then.

Until then, PLS - Debra
